Tokugawa Ieyasu Tokugawa Ieyasu was born in Matsudaira Takechiyo in 1542, son of the lord of the obligation of Mikawa. Hideyoshi then sent Ieyasu to persist lands in the east of Japan to try and prevail his evolution independence. Ieyasu made his new headquarters at the low-down way of edo which is now Tokyo.
